Course Details:
1 1/2 hour session
This session helps parents and carers look at their home with a fresh set of eyes. Often when we live with something day in day out we stop seeing what is in front of us.
This session uses some hard hitting images and statistics to illustrate the dangers within the home and gives simple advice on measures that can be taken to prevent avoidable injuries and accidents. Looking at the dangers found in specific rooms in the house, the types of accidents children can have and dog safety.
It also looks at effective parenting and supervision linked to child development.
